YTL, our partners in Malaysia, recently won an award for the most innovative service provider of the year at the Asia Pacific awards in Singapore.
I know it’s not directly relevant to the UK, but I thought I’d share it anyway in case anyone was interested:

PETALING JAYA: YTL Communications Sdn Bhd was named the Most Innovative Service Provider of the Year at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner in Singapore for its Yes 4G mobile Internet with voice service.
The Yes 4G service is a mobile Internet platform that brings together mobile broadband, telephony (voice and SMS) and cloud-based services across multiple devices, all with a single Yes account.
“We pioneered an identity-based network architecture that allows all these services to be accessible with a single Yes ID for convenience and cost savings,” said Wing K. Lee, YTL Communications chief executive officer.
Lee said YTL Communications is honoured to have received the award and that it is a testament to the company’s vision and hard work.
Founded in 2004, the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards seek to recognise companies and individuals that have pushed the boundaries of excellence and demonstrated outstanding performance across Asia Pacific.
